Application Procedures
Families who are interested in applying to the Nursery School should schedule a tour with us beginning Tuesday, September 5 at 9 am. Tours can be scheduled through the Admissions and Information and Tuition sections of our website and will be available through a link posted on this page on September 5. All tours will offer an opportunity for parents to meet our administrators, learn about mission and curriculum, and visit our classrooms while they are in session. Each tour will last approximately 75 minutes. Applications will be available after attending a tour.
Siblings of current and former students do not need to register for a tour. Please contact Lauren Vien, Director of Admissions and Community Engagement for more information.
Welcome to the Lauder Family Two’s Program at the 92NY Nursery School
We are thrilled to introduce our new 2’s program, specially designed to ignite curiosity and foster growth in your little ones during these critical early years of development. Our Nursery School has been a cornerstone of early childhood education with a focal point on social-emotional development. We are excited to expand our offerings to accommodate the needs of each child using an individualized approach and our play based curriculum.
At 92NY Nursery School, we believe that every child is a unique individual, and our mission is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages exploration, imagination and learning. Our carefully crafted curriculum is centered around play-based activities, allowing children to discover the world around them through a hands-on approach experiences. Children will participate in gymnastics, DEL – dance education lab, and music classes throughout the week.
Our dedicated teachers understand the developmental milestones of two-year olds and are adept at tailoring activities to meet each child’s needs while simultaneously facilitating a community within the classroom. We prioritize a low student- to-teacher ratio, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention, love, and guidance as they embark on their educational journey.
Throughout the week, the children will engage in a wide range of activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. From sensory play and art projects to music, story time and outdoor adventures on our three outdoor play spaces! Our daily schedule is designed to provide a balanced and stimulating experience for your child.
We understand that the transition from home to school can be both exciting and challenging for toddlers and parents. That is why we encourage open communication and collaboration with parents, ensuring that families are actively involved in their child’s learning journey.
