Overview

92NY School of Music offers private instruction for children on all band and orchestra instruments, piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, theory, music technology, composition, film scoring and more.

This Spring, there are 16-19 weeks of private lessons, depending on the day they take place. Please refer to our Spring 2026 Calendar and Private Lesson Tuition Rate Sheet for reference.

RETURNING STUDENTS:

In order to register your child for private music lessons during their Afterschool hours, please:

1. Register below
   *Please note that this registration confirms your child’s participation, but final registration details will come from The School of Music Office – the final registration will be based on the number of weeks associated with your child’s lesson day and lesson length
2. If you have not done so already, please Complete the Continuing Student Online Form

NEW STUDENTS:

2. Complete our Private Lesson Inquiry Form so we can have an overview of your child’s availability and interests
   *The School of Music Office will then be in touch to confirm your child’s lesson day/time and final registration details based on the number of weeks associated with your child’s lesson day and lesson length
3. Please note students must have their own instruments for lessons (besides piano, though it is encouraged that a piano or keyboard is accessible for at home practice).
