Overview

This pre-professional program is for serious musical theater students preparing for auditions at the college level or at specialized arts high schools and middle schools, and those committed to pursuing musical theater at a high level. Students will intensify their training in weekly classes taught by expert faculty, learning fundamentals of musical theater such as dance (Broadway Tap Performance and Broadway Jazz Performance), vocal performance, and acting. Students receive personalized coaching and expert guidance to hone their craft and take their talent to the next level, working towards an end of semester showcase. Expert faculty will be supported by a rotation of guest artists sharing professional experience and insights, together giving students authoritative training to help them pursue their artistic dreams. An end of semester performance will take place the weekend of June 5-7.
