Overview

Introduction to patchwork is a machine sewing workshop that will cover the basics of creating quilt blocks. During this workshop, students will practice using a rotary cutter and quilting ruler, sewing with a quarter inch seam allowance, and create four different traditional quilt blocks including: Checkerboard, Log Cabin, Half Square Triangle, and Star. Knowledge of how to use a sewing machine is essential for this workshop. Please refer to the supply list for required materials and tools.
