Join us for a year-long journey exploring wisdom through the eyes of a new teacher each month. Together we will be exploring the various dimensions of values and traditions.
The kabbalistic tradition provides rich resources for reimagining our relationship to the most ominous and even sinister aspects of the human condition – such as anger, evil, and death. Instead of minimizing the challenges they pose, the kabbalistic tradition urges us to confront their reality, their presence within ourselves as well as in others, and to seek ways to heal the rifts they wreak in our souls, our communities, and our world. January aligns with the Jewish month of Tevet, the time of the first of the fasts commemorating the destruction of Jerusalem, a destruction the tradition associates with baseless hatred, is the perfect time to for an honest reckoning with the harshest existential ordeals.
