Nia Sioux in Conversation with Chloe Lukasiak: Bottom of the Pyramid

Nov 03, 2025

From reality TV standout to multi-hyphenate artist and now author, Nia Sioux has lived much of her life in the public eye. At just nine years old, she became a household name as part of the original cast of Dance Moms. Week after week, she learned new choreography, competed across the country, and endured the infamous “pyramid” — where she was frequently placed at the bottom, in front of millions of viewers.

But what audiences saw was only part of the story. In her forthcoming debut memoir, Bottom of the Pyramid: A Memoir of Persevering, Dancing for Myself, and Starring in My Own Life, Nia shares for the first time what really happened behind the scenes: the isolation, the struggles with self-image, the toll on her friendships and mental health — and ultimately, how she found the resilience to rise above it all.

Join her for a special conversation as she launches her memoir and reflects on her journey from misunderstood dancer to confident young woman defining success on her own terms. With honesty and inspiration, she reclaims her narrative and offers a powerful reminder to anyone who has ever felt overlooked: only you can create your story — and shine at the top of your own pyramid.
