This event begins on Apr 24 at 10:30 am PT / 1:30 pm ET. If you don’t see the video above, watch on 92Y’s Facebook page.
Sarah Tolar doesn’t just have the voice of an angel, or a truly remarkable gift for coaxing out the fullest expression of her pupils’ talent at 92Y’s School of Music. She’s also the most generous of teachers. “My job,” she tells her students, “is to make sure that you are better than me.” On Friday afternoon, she welcomes us into her home for a recital of some of her favorite songs: a selection of originals from her two albums Big Blue Moon and Vision; a song written by one of her students; and a cover for our times from the musical Hello, Dolly! And afterwards, she’ll open up the floor for a Q&A. Join us!
