Ceramics for Families One Day Workshop

Overview

Discover the magic of clay together in this one-day family ceramics workshop! Designed as a hands-on introduction to the medium, this workshop invites caregivers and children to create a project while exploring foundational handbuilding techniques. Along the way, you'll build new skills, spark creativity, and make lasting memories together. Tuition includes participation for one caregiver and one child. Additional adults may register separately.

Projects for upcoming classes include: 

August 9th: Coil Plant Pot

Students will use the coil-building technique to create a functional flower pot. This project focuses on building sturdy forms, joining coils properly, and adding texture or decorative details before glazing.

August 16th: Pinch Pot Flower Bowl

Students will make a flower bowl using the pinch pot technique. They'll shape the petals, add their own creative touches, and glaze it to make it colorful and one of a kind.
