Overview

Since the Bronze age, spirals have been used in the creation of  jewelry.  Students will begin by learning traditional spiral elements.  Using these basic elements,  spiral bracelets, necklaces, and earrings will be created.  Continue by exploring addition techniques and create contemporary pieces of spiral jewelry using Alexander Calder's wire jewelry as inspiration  for designs. Instructor uses demonstration, samples and handouts to teach the classes. Refer to the Supply List for additional information
