    Overview

    Develop figure and portrait painting skills from observation of the live model.  Demonstrations in color mixing, establishing structure, proportion, and light and shadow theory will be presented in both gouache and oil mediums.   Emphasis is on capturing the model's gesture, likeness, and expression.
