92NY’s Center for Children and Family provides an exceptional array of programs designed to support children at every stage of their development.
This watercolor series takes you to two iconic waterfront neighborhoods, South Street Seaport and Dumbo, to paint directly from life. Working on location, you’ll explore the relationship between water, architecture, and urban activity while developing strong compositions and expressive color palettes. Wennie Huang will provide demonstrations and individualized feedback, helping you balance observation with a loose, responsive approach to watercolor. The class emphasizes capturing a sense of place while building confidence painting in dynamic, real-world settings.
