Andy Baraghani knows what’s delicious and how to cook your way there. The former Bon Appétit senior food editor and test kitchen video star joins us to talk about his debut cookbook, The Cook You Want To Be: Everyday Recipes to Impress. He takes you inside the unique brand of simple, imaginative, flavor-packed cooking that made his Tahini Ranch a viral sensation, and talks about some of the irresistible recipes in his book, like the Sticky Basil Shrimp, Crispy Mushrooms with Buttery Soy and Runny Yolks, and more. Hear Baraghani talk about growing up a child of Iranian immigrants in the culinary Mecca of San Francisco Bay Area, interning at the iconic Chez Panisse, what he learned working in the test kitchens of Saveur, Tasting Table and Bon Appétit, and how it all informs his passion for and approach to food.
