Leonard Fein, editor-in-chief of Moment Magazine moderates a conversation with Robert Jay Lifton, professor of psychiatry at Yale University, and Irving Levine, director of the Institute for Group Identity and Pluralism of the American Jewish Committee, about antisemitism in the United States. Fein speculates on the role that music and youth culture plays in the high occurrence of antisemitism from teenagers. Lifton reflects on his work speaking with former Nazi doctors and survivor physicians–listening to both the “victimizer and the victim.” He also comments on the “dangers of fundamentalism” in all forms. The discussion is followed by questions from the audience.
