Feb 21, 1974

Music commentator and broadcaster Martin Bookspan discusses new ideas and developments in the world of music composition and performance. He reflects on three specific questions: How can today’s composer innovate his art and not alienate his audience, how is the format of concerts changing, and how does contemporary opera differ from the past?
