Afterschool Live Arts with 92Y: Origami Memory Boxes

Create your own origami memory box with award-winning Teaching Artist Paul Ferrara. Explore and draw inspiration from celebrated artists like Joseph Cornell and Louise Nevelson, known for their sculptures and mysterious art boxes. At the end of the session, you’ll have your very own memory box to give to someone you care about or to store objects that are special to you.

92Y’s Afterschool Live Arts Series invites students and families to celebrate the end of the school day with free live performances and art-making activities led by 92Y’s expert Teaching Artists. Tune in on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm ET to explore different art forms and artistic traditions. Recommended for ages 5+.
