Award-winning humorist David Rakoff passed away on August 9 at the age of 47. Rakoff was a frequent guest at 92Y, entertaining audiences with his stories and comedy. At this event in February 2008, moderator Roger Rosenblatt instructs David, Patricia Marx and Frank McCourt to give a college commencement speech without using the words challenge, humanity, Johnson or doctor. Rakoff rises to the challenge with his trademark cynicism.
