Andile Dyalvane: Connecting Through Clay

An OnDemand Online Lecture

Nov 19, 2022

For South African artist Andile Dyalvane, ceramics is a calling more than a craft – a vital connection to his Xhosa ancestors and a medium for spiritual repair. Intensely personal, his clay journey is also profoundly universal, taking him from his rural village in the Eastern Cape province to major exhibitions as far afield as New York, Seoul, Perth and Cornwall (UK). Andile will talk about his evolution, ending with a preview of his new work for Design Miami 2022.
