Anna-Bella Papp: Rooftop Terrace

An OnDemand Online Lecture

Feb 02, 2022

“I propose to meet on a rooftop terrace, a metaphorical space from where we can survey everything. We will be looking at an archive, a slideshow of all of my works to date. A virtual space composed of fragments based on different cities. Each with particularities that make them be just like anything else. Starting from the centre, the earliest works, or the historical district, then gradually circling towards newer works, newer neighborhoods. Through big open roads or hidden shortcuts, we’ll talk about structures and interconnectedness. And we’ll zoom in on individual pieces, on how they came about, the way in which they were made.” – Anna-Bella Papp
