Supply List:

Project 1: Knotted pearl necklace using spool silk, french wire & clasp

Project 2: Knotting with carded silk with space between beads, bead tips & clasp will make a short sample of Project 1 and demo of Project 2- then decide which one is right for you. Will give handouts for both Projects.

Project 1 Supplies:

• One 16" strand of fresh water pearls 6mm to 10 mm** ( Necklace 18" (or shorter) w/ clasp)
• must be real pearls - no glass or plastic pearls)
• Scissors: small, sharp cuticle scissors or embroidery
• Small nail clippers
• Light colored pillowcase to work on Please do not forget this.
• **Beading Awl please buy from Instructor, $2.50 - good one!
• Silk and French wire will be provided by Instructor for 1st Project.
• **Clasp suitable for single strand necklace....should have soldered jump rings if at all possible
• #8 twisted wire eye needles (steel) ( Myron Toback, Fire Mountain, Instructor)

Project 2 Supplies:

• **Griffin carded silk (or nylon) #4 or #5, pearls or other beads.
  clasp may be added later. not needed for workshop
  Hat pin and bead tips provided by Instructor.
• **Instructor will have fresh water pearls available for purchase ($20 and under)
• Beading Awl ($2.50), clasps suitable Project 2 ($12) Twisted wire needles #6 or #8, Griffincarded silk #4 or #5 (may also be Griffin carded nylon)
• Assorted 4mm beads
• Cash or Zelle (small bills)
