Adult B'nei Mitzvah Class

Overview

Are you ready to take the next step in your Jewish journey, along with a community of fellow explorers?   

This adult B'nei Mitzvah course will be taught by The Torateinu Project, a team of experienced teachers: Cantor Susanne Katchko, Liz Wagner and Susan Wagner. In a joyful and supportive environment, learners will build strong foundations of Jewish learning, including Hebrew reading, so that they can chant Torah, compose a short commentary on their portion, and participate confidently in a group B'nei Mitzvah service. By the end, students will have forged a closer connection to their Judaism and their community, ready to continue a lifetime of experiencing and learning. 

The course will include 14 Tuesday evening group classes between October and March, plus some private one-on-one sessions for support with learning to chant assigned Torah verses. The Adult B'nei Mitzvah service will be on Saturday, March 6.
