Overview

Great jewelry deserves photos that do it justice. Learn how to photograph your own pieces at a level you can feel confident using for your portfolio, your website, or social media. Whether you're shooting on a smartphone or a proper camera, through simple tips and tricks you'll learn how to position, light, capture, and edit your work. You'll explore how different setups and equipment open creative and commercial possibilities, and get a brief look at concept and reference as a way of sharpening what you're trying to say about a piece. Throughout the two session workshop the emphasis stays practical: you'll learn to recreate simple, effective scenarios using what you already have on hand, so you can keep shooting well after the workshop ends, in the studio or at home. All supplies provided.
