    Overview

    Learn to secure gems with precision and pleasure. This class focuses on the use of wire to create structures to encase stones, rocks and objects. Wire tips will be manipulated to form claw like points. Students will also learn to build prong settings to elevate gems to express their beauty. Techniques include fitting, soldering, cutting seats and training the eye to level settings.
