92NY’s Center for Children and Family provides an exceptional array of programs designed to support children at every stage of their development.
This class is designed for adults who are absolute beginners, or those coming back to the cello after a long period of time away from the instrument. From posture and hand position to note reading and basic theory, students will be playing in no time!
Please note: Students must provide their own cellos, along with other required materials such as a bow, case, endpin strap or stopper, music stand, and rosin. For those in need of an instrument, cello rental is available at Strings and Other Things.
