Continue to develop your cello skills in this wonderfully supportive group class on the Upper East Side.
This class is designed for those who have completed a beginning cello course or are returning to cello playing with some familiarity in reading notes and playing in the first position. Students will focus on refining essential techniques, including proper hand position, note reading, basic music theory, and tone production. Through collaborative practice and guidance, students will continue to develop their cello skills while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow musicians. Students must provide their own cellos, along with other required materials such as a bow, case, endpin strap or stopper, and rosin. Please refer to our Instrument Recommendations Document for details.
