Family Workshop: Leaf Art - Rubbings, Resist & Prints (Ages 4+)

Overview

Engage with the beauty of nature and leaves through art in this hands-on family art workshop celebrating the season! Families will collect textures and shapes from nature and transform them into unique works of art using creative printmaking and watercolor techniques. Students will experiment with crayon leaf rubbings to capture the delicate veins, edges, and textures of different leaves, wax resist and watercolor washes to uncover hidden patterns and vibrant details and use real leaves as nature stamps, printing their shapes onto paper to create layered, one-of-a-kind compositions. Perfect for families who love nature, art, and hands-on creative activities, this workshop offers a fun and imaginative way to explore the textures and patterns found in the natural world.

Tuition includes access for one caregiver and their child. Additional family members can register separately.
