Precious metal clay looks and handles like clay, but fire it with a torch or in a kiln and it becomes sterling silver. In this mini 2-part workshop, you'll learn to work with PMC from start to finish: rolling and cutting the clay, texturing it, refining the surface, and firing it until it sinters into metal. You'll leave with small, customized charms of your own design, polished and ready to wear. These new mini-workshops offer a unique way for jewelry beginners to get hands-on with the foundational tools, materials and vocabulary that show up throughout the craft, like files, flex shafts, polishing wheels and more, maybe even some colorful stones thrown into the mix.
