This program is designed for young dancers who are ready to deepen their training in a supportive and inspiring environment. Students build strong technical foundations while exploring creativity, improvisation, artistry, and performance skills alongside a vibrant dance community.
Dancers participate in a minimum of two technique classes per week at 92NY and receive additional rehearsal and performance opportunities throughout the year. The program also offers affordable Saturday workshops, exposure to multiple dance styles, creative exploration, introductory choreography experiences, guest artists, and mentorship from Ayaka Kamei Cento.
Saturday workshops take place from 1:00–3:00 pm on the following dates: 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 12/12 (Nut/Cracked Performance Opportunity), 1/9, and 1/23. An optional additional performance opportunity will take place on Sunday, 12/13 at the Actors Fund Home in New Jersey.
Students will enjoy complimentary tickets to Harkness Mainstage performances and opportunities to continue growing as part of the 92NY dance community!
