Knitting for Beginners

Knitting for Beginners

Overview

Knitting provides a world of fabric-making options. Using the simplicity, contrast and harmony of the knit and purl stitches, we learn the basics of this time-honored tradition: how to get the stitches onto and off of the needles, and what happens in between. Basic increasing, decreasing, texture and pattern reading. Projects may include stitch sampler scarf or a one-of-a-kind cell-phone pouch.
