This online class will focus on various techniques and interpretations in watercolor of people from personal reference photos or those provided for instruction. The class will look at the various ways that people have been painted expressively in this medium by various artists ranging from Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent to living artists. Along with tips on proportion and capturing a likeness, live weekly online demos and prompts will deepen your understanding of process and sharpen your skills to reinterpret snapshots into watercolor paintings of people in your life.
