    Overview

    Explore the city as both subject and inspiration, capturing its energy, structure, and fleeting moments in watercolor. Working from reference images and observation, you’ll learn how to simplify complex urban scenes, focusing on light, perspective, and composition without getting lost in detail. Through demonstrations and guided exercises, you’ll experiment with washes, line, and layering to suggest architecture, movement, and atmosphere.
