Parkbench
Join us for Parkbench, where your toddler can thrive in a playful and social environment, building the skills and confidence that will prepare them for preschool, while you enjoy the camaraderie of a supportive community.
This class is designed to support your child’s development through interactive play and socialization, while also providing a space for adults to connect, share, and learn from each other and an experienced leader. Children must be accompanied to each class by one adult. Parents, caregivers, or other family members are welcome!
Key Features:
Lively Playtime: Each session kicks off with open playtime. During this time, toddlers will practice choosing and engaging in activities, thereby working on their attention span and decision-making skills.
Age-Appropriate Activities: All activities and materials are tailored to your child’s developmental stage. These activities focus on cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, social engagement, and fostering creativity and imagination.
Circle Time: We wrap up each class with Circle Time, featuring songs, stories, and group activities that promote language development and a sense of community.
Preschool Readiness: Parkbench is an excellent stepping stone for preparing your child for preschool. Through social interactions, following routines, and participating in group activities, your toddler will develop the foundational skills needed for a smooth transition to a more structured learning environment.
Adult Connection: As the children explore and learn, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with parents and caregivers, share experiences, and receive guidance from our experienced leader. It’s a supportive environment for building friendships and finding community.
