Parkbench Developmental Playgroup
Ages 1.5-3.5 (Children must be 1.5 at the start of the session)
Play, Belong, Grow—Connect
An accessible, playgroup-style class supporting toddlers with developmental and physical differences.
This warm and welcoming indoor class is designed for neurodiverse toddlers—including children with developmental, physical, or sensory differences—and their caregivers to play, connect, and grow together. Rooted in the Parkbench model—a relationship-based, playgroup-style approach—our classroom provides a supportive, accessible, and sensory friendly environment where children can engage at their own pace and in their own way.
Each week features a consistent structure with open-ended play, songs, movement, and group shared experiences—offering opportunities for interaction, regulation, and joy. We support all styles of communication, mobility, and expression, creating space for children to feel safe and seen, whether they are active participants or quiet observers.
This class is ideal for families whose toddlers may benefit from extra flexibility, accommodations, or support in early social settings—whether they have a diagnosis, are awaiting evaluation, or simply thrive in inclusive environments. All are welcome in this nurturing space where meaningful relationships take root, and caregivers connect through shared experiences.
