Learn how to provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary or emergency clinic. Covers how to care for animals before, during and after emergencies, including bleeding, bite wounds, cardiac arrest, choking, burns, poisoning and trauma. Injury prevention, disaster preparation and personal safety precautions are also covered to help pet owners identify and minimize risks. THIS COURSE IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR VETERINARY CARE.
Course price includes textbook and optional certification exam offered through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute at the conclusion of the program.
