Piano (Continuing Intermediate)

Overview

Our Continuing Intermediate Group Piano class is designed for students who have already completed our Beginner and Intermediate group piano classes and are ready to move to the next level.

This class will deepen your understanding of scales, chords, and piano technique, while encouraging you to explore how different sounds and musical phrases can evolve into full, expressive ideas through expanded repertoire and more advanced piano studies.

To join, students should be comfortable playing major and minor scales up to two flats and sharps and have a solid understanding of basic chords and voicings. If you're unsure about your level, contact the School of Music office for guidance.

We strongly encourage students to have regular access to a practice instrument at home to support their progress. Please refer to our Instrument Recommendations Document for more information.
