Pickleball Intermediate Open Play

Overview

Pickleball Intermediate Open Play is the highest level of play offered at 92NY and is intended for experienced players seeking fast-paced, competitive games. Participants should have at least 1-2 years of consistent playing experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of strategy, court positioning, shot selection, and doubles play. Players are expected to communicate effectively with their partners, understand when to transition to the kitchen line and when to retreat, and consistently execute soft shots, including dinks, resets, and controlled net play. Games are highly competitive, and participants should possess a strong level of athleticism, consistency, and court awareness. This session is best suited for players who are comfortable playing at an advanced recreational or league level and are looking for challenging, competitive match play against players of similar ability.
