    Overview

    Develop your ability to create painterly portraits that highlight the model’s features and personality by learning anatomy, proportion, and color-mixing. Lessons and demonstrations will be conducted in oil and acrylic. Students will work in a painting medium of their choice and through careful observation of one pose sustained over the course of the class they will learn how to interrupt proportions and views of the head to capture frontal, side or three-quarter views.  Study from live models in real time via online video conferencing.
