Silver Clay One Day Workshop

Overview

Make beautiful fine silver jewelry in one day even if you have no experience making jewelry at all! This magical malleable medium allows you to create beautiful pieces quickly and easily. Unlike traditional silversmithing techniques, using silver clay (precious metal clay) does not require the use of saws, hammers, or torch firing. It is ideal for those who need to use their hands and arms gently. You will learn to shape, texture, cut, refine, fire and finish one or more pieces such as a pair of earrings or a pendant. You will also walk away with written information on the material covered in the workshop as well as step by step instructions on making the pieces covered in class. All tools and supplies are included in the cost of the class, including 15 grams of silver clay. Extra clay and supplies will be available for purchase from the instructor.
