This beginner course in precious metal clay is for anyone who wishes to start their journey into this magical medium or refresh their knowledge. You will be introduced to the unique properties and basic techniques of working with it: how to condition, roll, texture, cut, stamp and manipulate the silver clay as well as how to make molds and use them. You will make pendants, earrings and rings and learn how to embed heat-resistant gems in your pieces. You will also learn how to refine your work in the early stages so you can produce professional looking results without the technical fabrication techniques required for working with sheet metal or wax.
