Torch Fired Enameling

Torch Fired Enameling

Overview

Create an embossed and textured pendant of your own design finished with dazzling colorful enamel. This class teaches the process of torch firing, which fuses the glass onto the surface of the metal with your torch instead of in the kiln. You will cover the basics of working with sheet metal, how to cut, shape, polish, anneal and texture using a rolling mill or chasing tools. Guaranteed to be a lot of fun, not too fussy or precise, just pure creativity and new fusing techniques.
