Try it! Multiple Approaches to Enameling
Try it! Multiple Approaches to Enameling

Overview

Enamel has been used to add color and depth to jewelry and objects for thousands of years. This three-hour class covers both traditional kiln firing and torch firing to fuse finely ground glass onto copper or silver. We'll start with the basics of preparing your metal, explore a few different ways to apply and build up color working toward a finished pendant. It's a fast, hands-on introduction to a material that rewards both careful planning and happy accidents. Beginners and experienced learners alike will have plenty to sink your teeth into. Supplies will be provided.
