for Kids’ & Teen Art Classes
How big are your kids’ classes?
Our classes are intentionally small, with no more than 14 students. Classes with more than seven students also have a teaching assistant, giving young artists plenty of support as they learn, experiment and create.
What if my child is a total beginner?
They’ll be right at home. At the 92NY Art Center, we believe art should be accessible to everyone. We welcome young artists of all experience levels and combine group and individualized instruction to help each student build technical skills, confidence and creativity.
What are your art studios like?
Our newly renovated, state-of-the-art studios are designed for hands-on art-making and creative exploration, giving artists of all ages an inspiring place to learn, experiment and create.
Does my child have to be enrolled in 92NY Afterschool to take an Art Center class?
No. Kids and teens do not need to be enrolled in 92NY Afterschool to sign up for Art Center classes. You can register for an Art Center class independently.
How do I choose the right art class for my child?
Start with your child’s age and interests. Our classes grow with young artists—from playful, hands-on exploration for younger children to stronger technical foundations, independent projects and advanced study for pre-teens and teens.
