92NY’s Goldman Center for Children and Family provides an exceptional array of programs designed to support children at every stage of their development.
The dazzling iconoclastic Turkish pianist and Beethoven specialist Fazıl Say describes Beethoven’s piano sonatas as “a sacred text for musicians.”
He returns to 92NY for a highly anticipated solo recital, performing a selection of Beethoven sonatas in the concert’s first half, followed by a selection of his own compositions blending Beethoven’s artistic vision with jazz-inflected Turkish rhythms. In a year filled with glorious Beethoven celebrations, Fazıl Say brings a program that truly stands apart. You’ll leave with your ears opened and your mind blown.
Online streaming also available for 72 hours following the performance.
