Overview

The new star of the classical guitar world brings his breathtaking virtuosity and charismatic artistry to music by Albéniz, Piazzolla, Barrios, Sérgio Assad, and more.

The French guitarist with roots in Djibouti who has rocketed to guitar-world stardom is one of very few classical guitarists ever to be signed by the Deutsche Grammophon label. In 2023, Feuillaitre became the second-most listened to classical artist on Apple Classical. Hear him in masterpieces including Albéniz’ Asturias, Tárrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra, and more in this all-Latin program showcasing the rich history of Spanish and Latin American guitar music – and the artistry of classical guitar’s newest star.

Online streaming also available for 72 hours following the performance.

Classical music at 92NY received major support from Marshall Weinberg z”l.
This program is part of Tisch Music.
