I have formerly done two bodybuilding shows and am currently a competitive amateur boxer, I specialize in boxing and strength training.
I was born in Russia, started doing fitness activities at 10 years old, joined Army (Airborne troops) at 18 years old. At 20 years old, I started working for the Moscow Police department (SWAT TEAM). At 29 I started working as a personal trainer in Moscow, then in Spain, and the last 15 years in the USA.
As a former Division 1 collegiate rower, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the physical and mental benefits of exercise. My mission is to empower others to develop strength and confidence through fitness. I strive to inspire individuals to push beyond their limits and embrace their full potential, both inside and outside the gym.
Ran track in high school. I like to think of myself as a very versatile but if I had to pick, I specialize in “explosive athleticism” and mobility/flexibility training.
PT John’s background as a Tennis Coach, Graphic Designer, and Martial Artist makes his sessions unique, fun, and challenging.
I have a dance and yoga background so both of those inform my training/teaching.
II have experience in strength training, weight loss, sports performance, senior fitness, and pre- and post-natal training. I’m also a woman’s figure competitor, so I know a few things about staying motivated, focused, and pushing beyond limits.
My background includes mostly hiking and swimming. I have been doing both most of my life. I am a rated level 5 hiker. And once upon a time I was captain of my swim team. I specialize in my clients achieving their goals. Every client presents a different set of needs. Each session is different from the last. I encourage each client to be happy about the changes they are making at the gym.
I have been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and have been a lead trainer at 92NY for about 9. I specialize in corrective exercise and performance enhancement. I dedicate my time to helping others reach their fitness goals and improve on living a healthier lifestyle.
I specialize in muscle-gain, senior fitness, corrective exercise, athletic training, orthopedic fitness, and functional fitness.
