The Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort is a dedicated track within the Women inPower Fellowship that specifically supports professionals who think and learn differently, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other forms of neurodivergence.
This dedicated track builds on our flagship Fellowship model, offering the same core programming—mentorship, executive training, and community—while centering the lived experiences of neurodivergent leaders.
Despite research showing that neurodivergent professionals often drive innovation and complex problem-solving, they remain underrepresented in senior roles and often lack access to tailored support. This cohort seeks to change that.
Our fellows are already shaping what inclusive leadership can look like. Early programming has focused on storytelling, confidence-building, and navigating leadership with authenticity. Fellows also have access to a custom wellness and productivity app developed in partnership with Untapped and LifeSherpa. Stay tuned for news about our original research with our collaborators Untapped, Understood.org, and Coqual.
The Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort, which has received national attention in Forbes and Able News, is a bold new model for empowering neurodivergent professionals. And this is only the beginning.
This is the most seen I’ve ever felt—I thought I was the problem, but now I’m learning new language for myself.
As a working mom navigating my child’s autism diagnosis, this cohort has been life-giving.
The FAQ below is specifically for the Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort. For general fellowship FAQs, see About Us.
What is the Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort?
Launched in 2025, the Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort is a dedicated track within the fellowship that provides additional support, programming, and community for fellows who self-identify as neurodivergent. Participants receive all core fellowship offerings, alongside expert-led content tailored to the strengths and challenges faced by neurodivergent professionals. This track has been featured in Forbes and Able News for its innovative approach to inclusive leadership development.
Why have a separate cohort for neurodivergent leaders?
Neurodivergent professionals bring exceptional strengths to the workplace—including creativity, systems thinking, and problem-solving—but are often overlooked for leadership development opportunities. A report from Deloitte found that neurodiverse teams can be up to 30 percent more productive than neurotypical ones, yet many neurodivergent professionals face barriers to advancement and remain underrepresented in senior roles.
The Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort exists to help close that gap, offering mentorship, executive education, and community tailored to the experiences of neurodivergent women-identifying professionals, within the structure and rigor of the core Women inPower Fellowship.
What does it mean to be neurodivergent?
Neurodivergence describes people who think and learn differently, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum condition, dyslexia, and other forms of cognitive diversity. For this cohort, we rely on self-identification. Sharing this information is optional, confidential, and will not affect your consideration for the general fellowship.
What accessibility accommodations are available for neurodivergent fellows?
We provide captions, agendas, and flexibility in regards to cameras on or off. We provide written materials from facilitators. We record only with permission of everyone. We also have multiple opportunities to participate from chat, to verbal, and inquire about feedback regularly. If anything additional is needed, we will work directly with the fellow.
How do I apply to the Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort?
There is one application for all Women inPower fellowship tracks. If you self-identify as neurodivergent and are interested in being considered for the Neurodivergent Leaders Cohort, simply note this preference in your application. To submit the application form, please visit the Apply page.
