At 92NY’s School of Music, adults of all levels can begin, return to, or deepen their study of music in a warm, welcoming setting on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Whether you are learning an instrument for the first time, rebuilding skills after years away, or looking for new ways to perform and connect, our adult music classes offer expert instruction and a lively community of fellow musicians.

Group Music Classes for Adults

Choose from group classes in piano, guitar, ukulele, cello, violin, voice, jazz, cabaret, music literacy, and more. Beginners can build strong foundations in a supportive setting, while continuing and intermediate students can refine technique, expand repertoire, and take their musicianship further.

Adults can also sing with the our choruses, explore cabaret in our renowned intensive program, join a chamber group or jazz combo, and take part in workshops and performance opportunities led by accomplished professional musicians and educators.
