What if the secret to a better week was written in the stars?
Soho House resident Astrologer Clarisse Monahan talks to Emmy-winning journalist and Real Housewives of New York City star Carole Radziwiłł in a conversation about Rise & Align: Your Weekly Guide to Channelling the Power of the Planets — her practical, playful new guide for bringing the ancient rhythms of astrology into modern life.
For centuries, astrology has associated each day of the week with a different planetary body. Clarisse Monahan brings that cosmic framework down to earth, translating it into a practical guide for deciding when to plan, push forward, reflect, or simply give yourself a break — Monday’s Moon favors intuition and dreaming; Mars gives Tuesday its drive; Mercury makes Wednesday ideal for communication and planning; Jupiter on Thursday is for manifesting growth and wealth; Venus on Friday is for love, and relationships; Saturn on Saturday for structure and boundaries; and The Sun on Sunday for confidence, vitality, and purpose. Known for finding the connections between astrology, creativity, and everyday life through her work as the resident astrologer for Soho House, Monahan turns these astrological rhythms into a practical tool: a way to approach your calendar with more intention rather than another set of rules.
Drawing on astral signs, ritual, and her observations of contemporary culture, Monahan offers a fresh way to think about everything from work and relationships to ambition and self-care. Whether you’re new to astrology, are a more experienced modern mystic, or are simply looking for a few quick wellness rituals to give a busy day a spiritual boost, this conversation is for you.
Hear Monahan and Radziwiłł explore the enduring appeal of astrology in an age of overstuffed calendars and endless notifications, the surprising history and hidden meaning embedded in the work week, and how small rituals can help us become more intentional about how we spend our time.
