Kyle McAuley is an interdisciplinary literature and environmental studies scholar who has taught at Seton Hall University and at Rutgers University, where he received his PhD in Literatures in English. In the coming academic year, he will hold an ACLS Fellowship. As an academic, writer, and producer, his work has appeared in Slate, Guernica, various WNYC and NPR shows and channels, Victorian Literature and Culture, The Wordsworth Circle, Literature Compass, and Victorian Studies. His research focuses on the intersection between oceanic studies and the history of imperialism.
