Our Staff

A highly experienced faculty trained in early childhood education works with children individually and in groups fostering creative expression through art, music, movement and language. The faculty of the 92nd Street Y Nursery School are passionate and dedicated. Many of our faculty members have been teaching at 92NY for over 30 years. The faculty bring a wide variety of professional experience and backgrounds which enrich the classroom experience. Our teachers work in teams, and collaborate and plan together. Professional development opportunities are provided during each year to enrich faculty growth.

The Nursery School partners with other 92NY Centers for our specialist classes. Gymnastics instruction is provided by certified coaches from the May Center for Health, Fitness and Sports. Wonderdance classes are taught by a dance instructor from the Harkness Dance Center and music teachers from the 92NY School of Music.
